A total of 70.32 lakh Kisan Credit Cards have been sanctioned with credit limit of 62,870 crore rupees out of 2 lakh crore rupees concessional credit under the Aatmanirbhar package. These cards have been sanctioned till 30th of last month. In a series of tweets, Finance Minister’s office said this will benefit 2.5 crore farmers, including fishermen and dairy farmers.
Around 24,587 crore rupees have been disbursed to Cooperative Banks, RRBs and MFIs under 30,000 cr Special Liquidity Facility by NABARD. This will help three crore small and marginal farmers meet their post-harvest and Kharif sowing needs.
