2 fishermen drown, 4 missing after boat capsizes off Mangaluru coast

Two fishermen drowned and four went missing after a fishing boat capsized in Arabian sea off Mangaluru coast yesterday.

A deep sea fishing boat capsized in the Arabian sea off the Mangaluru coast yesterday with reports of two fishermen drowning and four missing after the accident. There were 22 fishermen on board the boat which capsized and 16 of them have been rescued. The bodies of two fishermen who drowned have been fished out. The search is on to find out the missing fishermen.

The rescued fishermen, informed that due to the huge weight of fish and strong wind the boat capsized. The met department has advised fishermen not to venture into seas till December 4th due to rough weather conditions.
