15183 healthcare workers given second dose of COVID-19 vaccine in last 24 hours

In Bihar, a total of 15 thousand 183 healthcare workers took the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine during the past 24 hours. So far,  5 lakh 2 thousand 806 beneficiaries have been inoculated with vaccine doses since the start of vaccination drive in the state.

Meanwhile, two lakh 59 thousand 830 patients have recovered from the COVID-19 infection in the state so far. COVID-19 recovery rate has improved to 99.22 percent in Bihar. This is 1.89 more than the national average.

The number of active cases is continuously declining. Currently, only 519 patients are receiving treatment at various hospitals. Maximum 11 cases were reported from Patna. No positive case has been reported from 24 districts.
