राजस्थान के कोटा से बीजेपी सांसद ओम बिड़ला लोकसभा के नए स्पीकर होंगे। लोकसभा अध्यक्ष का नाम घोषित किए जाने के साथ ही पीएम मोदी ने एक बार फिर अपने फैसले से सबको चौंका दिया है। ओम बिड़ला आज ही अपना नामांकन दाखिल करेंगे, जिसके बाद बुधवार को सदन में इसपर मतदान होगा।
ओम बिड़ला की पत्नी अमिता बिड़ला ने कहा कि यह हमारे लिए बहुत गर्व और खुशी का क्षण है। हम उन्हें (ओम बिड़ला को) चुनने के लिए कैबिनेट के बहुत आभारी हैं। तो वहीं ओम बिड़ला की बेटियों ने उम्मीद जताई कि उनके पिताजी सदन की कार्यवाही अच्छे ढंग से चलाएंगे।
