Yogi Adityanath to be sworn-in as CM Uttar Pradesh for second consecutive term in Lucknow today

Senior BJP leader Yogi Adityanath will be sworn-in as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for the second consecutive term today. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

The ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states among others. BJP workers from different states have also been invited to the mega event. The venue has the capacity to accommodate 50,000 people.

Earlier yesterday, Yogi Adityanath was elected the leader of BJP Legislature Party in UP. The legislative party meeting was attended by Home Minister Amit Shah among other leaders.

BJP-led alliance had won 273 of 403 seats in the recent Assembly polls.
