Enforcement Directorate, ED has provisionally attached 127 crore rupees in Yes Bank case. The agency has attached a residential flat of Rana Kapoor in London, UK. The market value of the flat is 127 Crore rupees. It said, the flat was purchased by Rana Kapoor in 2017 in the name of DOIT Creations Jersey Limited and he is the beneficial owner. The total attachments under Prevention of Money laundering Act in this case comes to two thousand 11 crore rupees.
ED had initiated investigation against Rana Kapoor and others on the basis of FIR registered by Central Bureau of Investigation. Prosecution Complaints have been filed against Rana Kapoor, Kapil Wadhawan, Dheeraj Wadhawan and others. In another separate case, ED has also attached an asset amounting to 307 Crore rupees to Rana Kapoor.
