The DMK’s executive committee meeting will be held on August at 10am at party head quarters in Chennai. The meeting will decide the elevation of MK Stalin, who is the executive president of the party now. The party president M Karunanidhi who has passed away recently and his younger son stalin who is the helm of affairs now elevated to the highest post in the party. Also, the veteran 96 year old K Anbalagan, General Secretary of the party is expected to step down the post. The former Minister of DMK government and the senior leader of the party Durai murugan will replace him. The women’s wing leader Kanimozhi is expecting a promotion to become deputy secretary of the party. Interesting developments are going to unfold on the day.
