US President Donald Trump meets with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the United Nations General Assembly, in New York.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, 24 September, met with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session and discussed bilateral ties with him.
The meeting came two days after both leaders were together at the ‘Howdy, Modi’ mega event in Houston during which they addressed over 50,000 Indian-Americans.
On Monday, PM Modi held a series of bilateral meetings with several world leaders, including with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad.
