Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar today inaugurated the second edition of UP International Trade Show (UPITS) in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Addressing the inauguration session, Mr. Dhankhar appreciated the growth of MSME sector in Uttar Pradesh. Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Jitan Ram Manjhi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also attended the inauguration ceremony of the event. In his address, Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi highlighted the works being done for the MSME sector in the country. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that nearly 96 lakh MSMEs of the state are significantly contributing to boost the country’s economic growth. He added that, Uttar Pradesh has become the growth engine of the country’s development. Our correspondent reports that Vietnam is a partner country of the event and nearly 350 exhibitors from 70 countries are participating in the 5 days event. Around 2500 exhibitors from India and other countries are showcasing their products. The first edition of UPITS was inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu last year.
