The Portals of Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand opened this morning. State Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was present on the occasion. The portals of Badrinath shrine will open on Sunday.
The Char Dham yatra began on 3rd of this month with the opening of portals of Gangotri and Yamunotri temples on the occasion of Akshay Tritiya.
A record number of pilgrims are likely to visit Char Dham this year as it is for the first time since 2019 that the yatra has begun without the COVID-induced restrictions in force.
