Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked official to make all preparations for the vaccination of 10 to 11 lakh beneficiaries per day from the month of July. He expressed satisfaction over the success of the first day of mega vaccination drive started in the state yesterday.
AIR correspondent reports that 729197 beneficiaries were inoculated in state yesterday which was above the set target of six lakh jabs daily. Yogi Adityanath said that this progress must continue in the coming days also. State has administered more than 2 crore 63 lakh doses of covid vaccines till date.
The new phase of Covid-19 vaccination drive started with an aim to administer 6 lakh doses per day and subsequently increasing the same to 10-12 lakh doses per day from the first week of July, currently the drive is running on more than 7200 vaccination centres in state and the aim is to increase this number to 10000 centres.
