US withdrawal of GSP won’t impact India: Piyush Goyal

Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal today said that US withdrawal of Generalised System of Preferences will not have a significant impact on India. 

Replying to a question in the Rajya Sabha, Mr Goyal said, the country is well competent to handle the international trade situation. 

He said, Indian Industry is competitive in its export products and the government does not foresee a significant impact on the country’s foreign trade.
