United States President Donald Trump has tested negative for the novel coronavirus. According to the White House physician, the US President had taken the coronavirus test on Friday night and the results come out in less than 24 hours.
In a memorandum to White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham yesterday, Dr Sean Conley, the presidential physician said that after an in-depth discussion with the President on Friday regarding the COVID-19 test, Mr Trump elected to proceed.
He added that on Saturday evening, he received the confirmation that the test is negative. He further added that a week after having dinner with the Brazilian delegation in Mar-a-Lago, the President remains symptom-free.
The presidential physician has been in the daily contact with the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and the White House Task Force, and they are encouraging the implementation of all their best practices for exposure reduction and transmission mitigation.
