The number of cases of Covid19 infection are rapidly increasing in Uttar Pradesh. The state capital Lucknow has become Hotspot where highest number of Covid cases are being detected daily.
Meanwhile Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewing a high-level meeting at Lucknow today has instructed several measures to follow for containing pandemic infection. He had said that in rural and urban areas watch Committees – Nigrani Samitis be formed at Panchayat and Municipal level in which government officials along with village Chokidars, volunteers of Yuvak Mangal Dal, Civil defence and NGOs be included.
According to health department During the last 24 hours 4164 new cases of Covid 19 were detected and during the same period only 863 covid patients got recovered in state. The number of active cases in a state has increase to 19738 .
The state capital lucknow has become a major hotspot where 1129 new cases of Covid were detected and 8 people lost their lives during last 24 hours. Varanasi stands at second place where 453 new cases were found followed by 397 in Prayagraj , 235 in Kanpur Nagar and 121 in Gorakhpur. During the last 24 hours 31 people died of Covid taking the total number of Covid deaths in state to 8881.
