In Uttar Pradesh, the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar is being celebrated with great fervour. A series of events have been organised throughout the state to mark the occasion. All districts across the state hosting events, seminars, and tribute ceremonies dedicated to Babasaheb’s life and legacy.Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to Baba Saheb in a event in Lucknow and said that on Baba Saheb’s birth anniversary, we are uniting 14 to 15 lakh people who have been deprived of any kind of facility to provide them facilities. In every Gram Panchayat, wherever people are deprived of government facilities, facilities will be provided to them. This scheme will be dedicated to Baba Saheb.CM Yogi said that Baba Saheb suffered social humiliation, but never allowed India to be insulted. His contribution to the progress of the country can never be forgotten.A day before the celebration on Sunday, special cleaning drives were conducted in all public parks and memorials across the state-particularly those housing statues of national heroes and great personalities. Residents, public representatives, government officials, and employees participated in the cleanliness campaigns.
