In the exchange of fire, Grenadier Hemraj Jat aged 23 years attained martyrdom.
He belonged to Village Bhadoon, Tehsil Roopangarh, District Ajmer, Rajasthan and is survived by his Mother Smt Dhaka Devi. Indian Army responded strongly and effectively causing damage to major Pakistan Army defences.
Grenadier Hemraj Jat was a brave, highly motivated and sincere soldier. The Nation will always remain indebted to him for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty.
