Union Minister Dr. L. Murugan has stated that the Union Budget 2024-25 is historic as it is aimed at achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. While addressing the media on the Budget 2024-25 in Vijayawada on Saturday, Dr. Murugan said that special allocations have been made to Andhra Pradesh in this Union Budget, citing commitments for the Polavaram Project, industrial corridors, and other initiatives. The Minister emphasized that the Centre is fully committed to financing and the early completion of the Polavaram Project, which is a lifeline for Andhra Pradesh and its farmers.
