Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has condemned the attack on press freedom in the state of Maharashtra.
Referring to the arrest of a journalist in Mumbai early this morning, Mr. Javadekar expressed displeasure over the way Press is being treated in the State.
He said, the incident reminds of the emergency days when the press was treated in a similar manner.
