The University Grants Commission (UGC) has extended the last date for submission of application for Common University Entrance Test (CUET) till 31st of May for admission to various undergraduate programmes. In a tweet, UGC Chairman Professor M Jagadesh Kumar said, the decision was taken in view of the representations received from the students for providng them opportunity to submit their online application.
Students can submit their applications till 31st of this month. Earlier, the last date was 22nd of May. The three-and-half-hour computer-based entrance test will be conducted in two shifts. The CUET is compulsory for all 45 central universities funded by University Grants Commission.
