Trinamool Congress MP Dinesh Trivedi resigned from Rajya Sabha today. In the midst of the proceedings of the House, he raised the issue of violence in Bengal and then announced his resignation. During this, he said that he would always work for Bengal.
Dinesh Trivedi’s tenure was still for five years and his membership was to end in 2026. Announcing his resignation in the House, he said, “I feel suffocated now, we are unable to do anything. Every man’s life comes when he has to listen to his inner voice. Today my soul is saying Do not sit here and sit quietly.
Resign from here. I am resigning today, I will always work for the country and Bengal. ” However, in the meantime, the Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh advised Trivedi that there is also a process of resigning and that he should resign before the Chairman.
Let me tell you that Dinesh Trivedi was also one of the leaders who brought TMC Raj in Bengal in 2011. In the last election too, he was considered close to Mamata Banerjee. However, this is not the first case when he got angry with Mamata Banerjee, before that when Dinesh Trivedi was made railway minister in UPA 2, he was angry with Mamata Banerjee many times and due to that he resigned from the railway minister. Recently, TMC MLA Mihir Goswami, cabinet minister Shwendu Adhikari in the Mamta government has also left Mamta.
Apparently, the resignation of Dinesh Trivedi before the election may bring a new twist in the coming elections.
