Those rejected by people spreading confusion, lies for their vested interests, says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hit out at Opposition parties saying that those rejected by the people are spreading confusion and lies for their vested interests.

Without naming any party,  Mr Modi asserted that despite attempts by the Opposition to spread confusion, people’s faith in the BJP and its government have remained unshaken. He said this while addressing the BJP leaders and workers at a ceremony to felicitate newly elected  BJP President J P Nadda in New Delhi today. He expressed confidence that the party will scale newer heights during Mr. Nadda’s presidency.

Mr Modi also appreciated the work done by the former Party President Amit Shah, saying that he has played a vital role in strengthening the party. He said, Mr Nadda’s leadership will give new energy, hope and inspiration to the party.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Nadda said, BJP is not going to stop at this juncture and will try to make sure that it reaches to the states which are left.

Former BJP Presidents, Lal Krishna Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Nitin Gadkari along with Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states, several Union Ministers, MPs and other party leaders were also present during the felicitation program at party headquarters.
