As a part of the 200 years celebration of the establishment of The Shreenathji Krishna Hindu Temple in Bahrain, the temple managing committee observed the 5th edition of International Yoga Day on Thursday, June 20th 2019.

The Honorary Chairman Mr. Sushil Muljimal welcomed the Indian Embassy Second Secretary (Consular) Mr. P. K. Chowdhury and the event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.

There was a demonstration of Family and Partner Yoga, showcasing that Yoga can be done anywhere, anytime and with anyone.

Certified Yoga expert Dr. Mayuri led the proceedings and was ably assisted by Mr. Nilesh Bhatia. It was followed with an interactive session with almost 125 yoga enthusiasts who got tips on the benefits of individual asanas and how to follow a healthy and nutritious diet.

Mr. Bhagwan Asarpota, Honorary Vice Chairman of the Thattai (Bhatia) Community which manages the Temple, thanked Mr. Chowdhury, Dr. Mayuri, Mr. Nilesh and all the participants and attendees for making the event a huge success.
