The National Executive Committee Meeting of Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam (SASS) was inaugurated by Dr. Rajeswari Nair, respected Principal of Advaita Gurukul at Silvassa on 7th June 2019 at Silvassa in the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli.

The 3 day conference was presided over by the National Chairman Shri. T. B. Sekhar who hoisted the SASS Flag at the venue Advaita Gurukul, Silvassa. He told that the organization which was founded in the year 2008 in Kerala with initial activities in southern states gradually spread and expanded now to 14 states within a short span of 10 years.

About 65 delegates, comprising national leaders and state level leaders from 14 states will be discussing in detail and chalk out strategies for the growth of the organization for the next decade, world-wide.

Further, the delegates deliberated on various national issues like impact of Supreme Court Judgment of 28th September 2018 on Sabarimala and other temples and Hindu society also, unsolicited intervention of governments and atheist political parties in religious and temple matters, anti-Hindu and anti-national activities of some groups like communists, muslim terrorists etc. and suggest remedial actions and precautions.

National General Secretary Shri. N. Rajan, Joint General Secretary Shri. Durai Shankar, Organising Secretary Shri. V. K. Viswanathan, Administrative Secretary Shri. P. Shanmuganandan, Treasurer Shri. S. Vinodkumar, senior leaders Shri. A. R. Mohanan,

Dr. K. Kumarswami, Shri. K. Padmakumar, Dr. Chinthanbhai Upadhyaya etc. will be leading discussions and taking classes on various subjects.

National Chairman announced that Brahmashree Kalidasan Bhattathirippad, renowned Thanthri (Main Priest of about 700 temples) and associated with various social and spiritual organizations, will lead SASS Kerala as its President.
Further he nominated Shri. R. K. Nair, Silvassa, a well-known industrialist and educationist as the National Secretary of SASS Abhivardhan Samithy (Development Committee).
