Karnataka’s newly appointed Governor Thawarchand Gehlot will arrive Bengaluru today. Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa and Revenue Minister R. Ashoka along with senior officials from Raj Bhavan will receive him at the airport. Tomorrow morning, the Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court Justice Abhay Sreeniwas Oka will administer the oath of office to the new Governor. Mr Thawarchand Gehlot will replace Mr Vajubhai Vala as the Governor of Karnataka.
