Thawarchand Gehlot launches Braille version of ‘Exam Warriors’ written by PM Modi

Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawarchand Gehlot today launched Braille version of the book Exam Warriors written by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

The braille version in English and Hindi has been printed by Rajasthan Netraheen Kalyan Sangh in Jaipur.

Speaking after launching the book, Mr Gehlot said, the book will surely benefit visually-impaired students who face mental stress during examinations.

He said it will boost the confidence level of these students and help them get success in various competitive exams.

The Minister further said that his Ministry will try to help the Rajasthan Netraheen Kalyan Sangh to propagate the braille version of the book nationwide so that students can reap the benefits of this book.

The book contains a detailed-deion of the animated picture and various yoga asanas which will let students imagine the pictorial graphics with ease.  A delegation of visually-impaired people presented the book to Mr Gehlot before the release.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with students during an event Pariksha pe Charcha-2020. He has been interacting with students appearing for the board exams to give them tips on how to cope-up with the exam-related stress.

The third edition of Prime Minister’s programme is proposed to be held at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi in the third week of next month. A total of 2,000 students, parents and teachers will be participating from all over India in this programme.

Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has announced the dates for upcoming 10th and 12th board examinations.

The examination of the ongoing session will begin from February 15 next year. Exams for 12th class will be held from February 15th to March 30th and for 10th class from February 15th to March 20th.

Students can visit the official website of the CBSE Board- <<www.cbse.nic.in>> to check and download the date sheet for the board examinations.
