Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) Dr Jitender has said the CPI (Maoist) has lost its base in Telangana with no scope left to revive its activities in the State. Responding to a question at the Press conference in Hyderabad last evening, the DGP said, Maoists kept on trying to revive their activities in Telangana but they lost support from people. He added, there have been instances where Maoists killed their own people, who were trying to leave the group and then branded them as police informers.
