Tamil Nadu CM holds meeting over rising covid cases

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy held a meeting with regard to the rising covid cases in the State at Chennai. The meeting was attended by the cabinet ministers and higher officials of the State. This is the first meeting to be held in Chennai after the assembly elections.

Vaccination drive is becoming more popular as Government officials and private apartments are volunteering for inoculation. District administration officials are arranging vaccination camps for those above 45 years of age.

In the past 24 hours, more than six thousand people have tested corona positive in the state bringing the total count of positive cases to 41 thousand 955.
