Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani lost all calm after seeing the weekend numbers. Their new release, Kabir Singh has become the talk of the town whether the box office collection or, the misogynistic comments.
In spite of the film being leaked online by pirated websites, and aggressive reviews online the film’s box office collection has been growing. It became the 4th biggest opener and earned Rs 70.83 crore in its opening weekend. On Monday, it collected over 12 crores taking the number to a total collection so far to Rs 82.83 crore.
Released in 3123 screens in India the film was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy.
Kabir Singh left Padmaavat behind and become Shahid’s biggest-ever opener, to celebrate Shahid shared a picture on Instagram with director and co-star Kiara from the sets of the film.
