At the stock markets, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange shot up 765 points, or 1.4 per cent, to end at an all-time high of 56,890, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange spurted 226 points, or 1.4 per cent, to a record closing high of 16,931.
