In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces launched joint search operations in the twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch today. Acting on information that a woman spotted three suspected persons in the Nowshera area late last night, a search operation was launched in the area. Another search operation in the forest belt of Poonch district is also underway. The operation is being carried out by a joint team of security forces.
