The Supreme Court will hear the Centre’s appeal challenging the Delhi High Court’s verdict in the Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case. A bench comprising justices N V Ramana, Sanjiv Khanna and Krishna Murari decided to hear the case today.
The High Court had on Wednesday, dismissed Centre’s plea against the trial court’s order staying the execution of the four death row convicts in the case. It had said that all the four convicts have to be executed together, not separately.
