Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay an official visit to New Delhi on Monday for the 21st India-Russia Annual Summit with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The leaders will review the state and prospects of bilateral relations and discuss ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries. The Summit will be an opportunity to exchange views on regional, multilateral and international issues of mutual interest. Both leaders will also hold one-on-one talks.
there will be intensive engagement during the day culminating with the India-Russia Annual Summit. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoygu will co-chair the Intergovernmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation in the morning. External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar will have a bilateral meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. These meetings will be followed by the inaugural meeting of the newly instituted 22 Dialogue.
