Congress has said people’ mandate is paramount in a democracy and it accepts the results of assembly elections in five states with all humility and responsibility.
Party Spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala told media that the results of Kerala and Assam are disappointing and not as per expectations of the party. He said Congress has lost the elections but not the morale to work for the people in this time of pandemic.
