The result for the exams conducted for Higher Secondary Second Year (+2) was declared this morning. In total, 14012 students from both government and private schools in Puducherry and Karaikal regions appeared for the exam and 12948 students have passed the examination. 5867 boys and 7081 girls passed the exam. The pass percentage of all schools in Puducherry & Karaikal regions is 92.41 while pass percentage of all Government schools is 85.35. In Puducherry region, 51 schools secured 100 per cent results while 4 schools in Karaikal region secured 100 per cent pass in the said examination. 526 students secured 100 marks out of 100 marks in 13 subjects. In Computer science 165 students and 135 students in French evolved as centum holders.
There is an increase in overall pass percentage of Government Schools in Puducherry Region.
