The Maharashtra government has said that restaurants and eateries can be opened in the state till 12 pm to give impetus to the economy. According to the order issued by State Chief Secretary Sitaram Kunte, all other establishments can be opened only till 11 pm.
The decision to open restaurants and eateries till midnight has been taken keeping in mind the upcoming festivals.
In the order, the local District Disaster Management Authority-DDMA has been empowered that after taking prior permission of the State Disaster Management Authority, this time can be changed keeping in mind the local needs.
