Rain lashes parts of Delhi; No heat wave conditions in India for next 4 days

The National Capital woke up to a rainy morning today and heavy rainfall is likely to continue till tomorrow in the region.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the Southwest monsoon has advanced into most parts of peninsular and east India and some more parts of central and northwest India. Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Eastcentral and parts of Northwest India during the next four days.

Met Department has forecast isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy rainfall over Odisha and Jharkhand till tomorrow. Isolated heavy rainfall is also likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from today till the 28th of this month.

No heat wave conditions are very likely over the country during the next four days.
