Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today said Raiways have decided to provide Wi-Fi facility at all stations except halt stations.
Replying to written questions in the Lok Sabha, Mr Vaishnaw said so far, Wi-Fi facility has been provided at six thousand seventy one stations.
The Minister said provision of Wi-Fi at balance stations is in progress and is dependent upon the availability of infrastructure like Optical Fibre cable at these stations. He said, Railway is in process of providing Wi-Fi services at another 37 stations.
He said, Wi-Fi facility has already been provided at 232 stations in Odisha.
