Rafale puja row: Cong has lost its way, remarks Javadekar

India receives first Rafale fighter jet from France

Close on the heels of the Indian National Congress slamming the National Democratic Alliance regime and especially Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for performing ‘Shastra puja’ on Rafale combat aircraft, Union Minister and BJP leader Prakash Javadekar on Wednesday said the party seems to have lost its way. “Now, what should I say what Congress is saying on this…,” Mr Javadekar told reporters during a post-Cabinet meet briefing.

“This party has lost its way,” remarked the Information and Broadcasting minister rather tersely. His reaction came shortly after INC leaders Sandeep Dikshit and Alka Lamba accused the Bharatiya Janata Party-led dispensation of saffronising the Rafale handover in France.
