Prithviraj and team land in Kochi, head to quarantine centre

Mollywood actor Prithviraj, director Blessy and 56 crew members of the movie ‘Aadujeevitham’ who got stranded in Jordan due to the COVID lockdown returned Kerala safely on Friday morning. The team landed in Kochi international airport and will be quarantined for 14 days at the centre arranged by the government

Prithviraj moved to the paid quarantine centre in a hotel by driving his car after completing the health check-up at the airport.

Earlier, Indian Embassy had shared a photo of Prithviraj and director Blessy at Jordan airport.

A special flight of Air India carried 187 Indian nationals destined to Delhi and Kochi on Thursday.

Prithviraj and team headed to Jordan for the second schedule shooting of ‘Aadujeevitham’. Following the lockdown over coronavirus outbreak, the crew members got stranded in Jordan. They sought the help of union minister V Muraleedharan for repatriation from Jordan.

As the situation improved, the team resumed shooting in Jordan with special permission from Jordan authority. Finally, they finished shooting on Monday.
