Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Sikkim’s first functional airport on September 24

IndSamachar Bureau: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Pakyong airport on Monday September 24. The airport will provide a big boost to connectivity in the Himalayan State, and also give a fillip to tourism. Prime Minister will arrive at Pakyong airport, where he will be briefed about the airport and terminal building. PM Modi will unveil a plaque to mark the inauguration of Pakyong Airport and later address a gathering.

It may be noted that the inauguration was scheduled for Sunday earlier, but it was postponed to Monday, September 24. After inaugurating the airport at 9:00 am, PM Modi will address the public at St. Xavier’s School ground, Pakyong.
