Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Pune last night

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Pune last night to attend Directors General and Inspectors General of Police Conference in the city. Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and former CM Devendra Fadnavis received the Prime Minister at the airport.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the evening session of the three-day conference yesterday. Top officials of state police, central armed police forces, central investigation and intelligence agencies are attending the national conference.

The conference is being held at Indian Institute of Science, Education and Research (IISER) in Baner and Centre for Police Research (CPR) in Pashan area of the city. The annual conference is being organised by Union Home Ministry.
