New Delhi: Union Minister Jitendra Singh has said that the Centre’s next agenda is retrieving parts of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and make it a territory of India.

He further said that it is not only his or the BJP’s commitment, but is a part of the unanimously passed resolution of Parliament in 1994 by the Congress government headed by PM Narasimha Rao.

Singh, who represents Udhampur constituency in Lok Sabha, said abolishing article 370 was the historic decision.

Speaking on the situation in Kashmir, the minister said that the Valley was “neither shut nor under curfew” and added that the situation was fast getting back to normal.

“The government has taken several historic and landmark decisions at an unparalleled scale but the abrogation of Article 370 is the biggest achievement of the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the first 100 days of its second term which is being rejoiced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” news agency ANI quoted Singh as saying.
