Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at the Sri Ranganathaswamy temple, Tiruchirapalli. Apart from special poojas and darshan at the temple he will also meditate inside the Kambar Arangam. Later, he will depart to Rameswaram in the afternoon. He will take a holy dip at Rameswaram and visit the 22 theerthams and also attend the cultural events from eight states about Ramayan. He will halt at Ramakrishna Mission. Tomorrow morning he is scheduled to visit Arichal Munai for a darshan and pooja and will visit the Kothandaramaswamy temple before departing to Delhi.
