Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation ten projects worth around rupees seven thousand six hundred crores in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur today. Prime Minister will also address a public meeting in Raipur.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate to the nation two National Highway projects built at a cost of about rupees thirteen hundred crores and will lay the foundation stone of three other National Highway projects in Raipur today. These projects will prove to be helpful not only to promote tourism but also in better transportation of coal from the coal mines located in these areas besides increasing the connectivity between different areas. These projects will be beneficial for the development of infrastructure in these areas.
Besides, Prime Minister will also dedicate the LPG bottling plant of Indian Oil located in Korba, doubling of Raipur-Khariar road rail line and Kevti-Antagarh new rail line project. During the program, Shri Modi will inaugurate the new train service between Antagarh to Raipur and will also kick start the distribution of 75 lakh cards to the beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Ashwini Vaishnav, Hardeep Singh Puri, and Union Minister of State General Dr. V.K. Singh will be present on this occasion. During the Raipur visit, Shri Modi will also address a public meeting organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party at the Science College ground.
