PM Modi is according highest priority for the development of education sector: HRD Minister

Union Minister for Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is according highest priority for the development of education sector and talented human resources in the country. Addressing the students during an interactive session at an educational institution in Venkatachalam in Shri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh yesterday, the Minister said that the Centre is committed to improve the quality of education in India so as to compete with international academic institutions. He also said that Skill India programme has been conceived by the Union Government to develop demand oriented skills among the youth.
         
The Minister later reiterated that the Prime Minister is emphasizing on the overall development of the youth of the nation by interacting with students through ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme in order to instill confidence among them who are gearing up for their annual examinations. He also asked the students to be confident and positive in their approach while writing the examinations without anticipating the results.
