Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the demise of veteran leader Thiru Kumari Ananthan. In a social media post, Mr Modi said Thiru Kumari Ananthan will be remembered for his noteworthy service to society and passion towards Tamil Nadu’s progress. The prime minister said the veteran leader also made many efforts to popularise the Tamil language and culture.
