Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed grief over the demise of senior BJP leader and trustee of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Kameshwar Chaupal. In a social media post, Mr Modi said that Mr Chaupal was a dedicated Ram Bhakt who made a valuable contribution to the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The Prime Minister highlighted that coming from a Dalit background, Mr Chaupal will always be remembered for his work for the welfare of the deprived communities of the society. Mr Modi extended condolences to his family and supporters in this time of grief.
