PM Modi addresses rally in Haryana, praises Manohar Lal Khattar govt for development work

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that Haryana Government led by Chief Minister  Manohar Lal had done a lot of development work in the state and ended the corruption in appointments. He was addressing an election rally at Elenabad in Sirsa district of Haryana today.

The Prime Minister said that Kartarpur Corridor is ready and that the 550th Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji will be celebrated with full devotion. He said that Congress at the time of partition, had not attempted to keep Kartarpur Sahib in India. He appealed to the youth to shun drugs.  

The Prime Minister also raised the developmental issues in his address. Citing the formation of a separate ministry for water, he said the water in rivers, which flow to Pakistan, will be made available in Haryana and other states.

The Prime Minister said that Congress is saying, Article 370 and 35A was temporary. He asked why it was not scrapped in 70 years if it was temporary. Mr Modi said the country was misled in the name of communal harmony. He said Congress crushed the Sufi culture in Kashmir and benefitted few families of the state ignoring the general public.

The Prime Minister said, his government has launched JAL JEEVAN mission, to make the country drought and water-deficient free. He said that in the next the 5 years, 3.5 lakh crore rupees would be spent to make water available in every house. He said that the government had taken a number of steps to double the farmer’s income and that MSP of crops has been increased by 1.5 fold.
