PM expresses happiness about increased registration in ISRO’s YUVIKA 2020

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed happiness that Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO’s Young Scientist Programme YUVIKA 2020’s registration has gone up to 1 lakh 53 thousand from 74 thousand. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, youngsters, showing such interest in science, innovation and space technology is an encouraging sign. The registration for the programme will close on Thursday evening. The Prime Minister said, there is still some time for those who have not yet applied and they can do it as soon as possible.
 
Mr Modi had mentioned about the programme in his Mann Ki Baat on All India Radio last month. In a tweet, the Indian Space Research Organisation thanked Mr Modi for mentioning about YUVIKA Programme in Mann Ki Baat.
