Piyush Goyal says all e-commerce companies should follow Indian laws

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said all e-commerce companies should follow the Indian laws and do not use muscle or money power to hurt the interests of the country. He said, many large e-commerce companies brazenly flouted laws of land.
Speaking at a Webinar Mr Goyal said that many of the practices these companies pursue are against the interest of consumers. The minister said, that is the reason the government, recently came out with draft rules for e-commerce companies or marketplace models, which apply to all firms including Indian. Mr Goyal asserted these rules are to protect consumer interest.
The minister said, the Indian market is big and it welcome all players to come and participate.
